Suzanne Flach has served as an Instructional Technology Specialist with Virginia Beach City Public Schools since 2012. Before transitioning into instructional technology, she taught Biology in both Virginia Beach City Public Schools and Chesterfield County Public Schools.
A self-described “fence-sitter,” on most issues, her professional and academic path has ranged from Art to Elementary Education to Biology and Secondary Education and Educational Leadership—and she still jokes that Pathology may someday become her next chapter. Her areas of interest include science, artificial intelligence, and the evolving intersection between technology and learning. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, weight training, and gardening - but not pulling weeds!
