I'm a communications professional looking to use my 25-plus years of experience to promote community-minded organizations by leveraging my skills as an award-winning writer and editor. I craft compelling stories to enliven the mission, vision and values of corporations, nonprofits, government agencies and the news media. Before working in public relations at Virginia Beach City Public Schools, I was journalist for daily newspapers in Norfolk, Newport News and Lynchburg, Virginia. I also have experience working in communications for the cities of Virginia Beach and Norfolk.
