This professional learning session immerses high school health and physical education teachers in a deep exploration of learning intentions and success criteria to strengthen evidence-based, differentiated instruction. Participants will experience a model class period that demonstrates high-quality, inclusive physical education where students engage in meaningful movement, develop social-emotional competencies, and see themselves represented in the learning process. Teachers will leave with practical strategies for designing intentional lessons that elevate clarity, equity, and student ownership of learning across diverse abilities and perspectives. We will also review school year expectations and provide information about Professional Learning Communities for HPE teachers.
