About me
I am starting my fourth years as an English teacher with two prior years as a math teacher. My only experience is with seventh graders. What a trip! I work with the absolutely best teacher team which collaborates with grade levels as well, If you're going to be "stuck in the middle" you might as well have the best sixth and eight grade teams. Go Salem! Did I mention our administration rocks? It does! Go Team Smith. Sorry, but my daughter recently got into the Twilight Series. I can't believe how thrilled I was to find out that she, like her mother, is Team Jacob. But now, I'm digressing. Then again, since I brought it up, I have two children. A rising ninth grader, Luke (someone please tell me a 14 year old boy is WAY more mature than a 13 year old boy....even if it's a lie...) and a rising sixth grader, Charlotte. Unfortunately due to current situations, she will be attending SMS with me. However, my son's experience at IMS was phenomenal. Fantastic, hard working, enthusiastic teachers, coaches, administrators, electives people.
We are about to embark on an incredible journey. I'm strapping in, securing the safety bar, and welcoming this challenge.
