In this session, participants will build a strong foundation in the science of reading by exploring the research and theoretical models that explain how skilled reading develops. Through clear examples and practical discussion, educators will deepen their understanding of how the brain learns to read, what components support reading growth, and why these findings matter for classroom instruction. This foundational knowledge will equip participants to make informed instructional decisions that promote literacy achievement for all students.
