Shift the "thinking" back to the students! This session explores the transformative integration of Peter Liljedahl’s Building Thinking Classrooms (BTC) framework within High School Biology. Discover how vertical non-permanent surfaces and random grouping move students from passive note-taking to active scientific inquiry. We will demonstrate how BTC practices translate seamlessly across all disciplines to foster future-ready learners. Participants will gain practical strategies for facilitating collaborative problem-solving, ensuring every learner—regardless of subject—develops the critical thinking skills necessary for post-secondary success.
